What It Is

Humanizing the Human Interaction™ — Protecting Our Elders is a community discussion series created by De’Airra Belcher of JRMT Consulting, LLC.

Each session brings together fraud professionals, elder justice advocates, healthcare workers, caregivers, and community members for an honest, unscripted conversation about what is happening to our elder population — and what we can do about it.

This series is not a lecture. It is not a presentation. It is a room where real people have real conversations that generate real awareness, real data, and real change.

Our elders are worth the fight. This series exists to honor their stories, protect their dignity, and push for better systems.

1 in 44

Only 1 in 44 elder financial exploitation cases are actually reported.

Our elder population is one of the most targeted — and most underserved — consumer groups in the country. The scale of the problem is staggering. But the reason it continues is quieter: fear, shame, dependency, and systems that make speaking up harder than staying silent.
